Solar Panel System Style Consultation

Envision standing on your roofing on a crisp Berks County Pennsylvania early morning, sunshine spilling over the horizon, and questioning, " How can I capture this energy most effectively?" That's where a photovoltaic panel system design consultation transforms from a mundane appointment into a pivotal moment of discovery. It's not just about slapping panels on a roofing; it has to do with crafting a tailored energy option that dances with your home's unique qualities.

The Art and Science of Tailored Solar Designs

Every home in Berks County Pennsylvania is a solar story waiting to be told. The consultation dives deep into aspects like:

  • Roof orientation and pitch-- Is your roofing a sun magnet or a shadow sanctuary?
  • Shading patterns-- Trees or neighboring buildings might play spoiler.
  • Energy usage practices-- Night owl or early riser, your use forms the system.
  • Future expansion possibilities-- Planning for tomorrow's power requires today.
  • Review of Lumina Solar PA in Berks County Pennsylvania by John Dowd: I was skeptical but Lumina finished the project timely and the results have been better than expected. I thought that it would eliminate my electric bills but it has actually produced enough that I receive checks every quarter from PPL. Call when you call Lumina and ask for Peter.
  • Review of Lumina Solar PA in Berks County Pennsylvania by John Camburn: Lumina and Christopher were very good. Everything is going well. We are saving money. The best part is we are using Green energy to power our home. It really makes us feel Good that we are doing our part to help with climate change.
  • Review of Lumina Solar PA in Berks County Pennsylvania by Seth Werner: Easy process from signing the paperwork, through permits and installation, through connecting to the grid and making power.
  • Review of Lumina Solar PA in Berks County Pennsylvania by marcwist: Tim was great at showing us all the options available for our house. We settled on a great fit for the house and our lifestyle. The installation was flawless and so quick. Since then the production of the panels have been wonderful and serving us perfectly.
  • Review of Lumina Solar PA in Berks County Pennsylvania by Bruce Ogden: After interviewing 7 solar companies, we selected Lumina Solar to design and install our solar system. Lumina has, in my opinion, the best sun angle/exposure software platform which provided us the most efficient and highest yield panel layout. Alexander Fegley, our sales consultant, was extremely knowledgeable and responsive to all our questions (and there were many). The installation team was awesome and great to work with. Our system is up and production is meeting all of our expectations. Selecting Lumina Solar was definitely the right decision.
  • Review of Lumina Solar PA in Berks County Pennsylvania by John Kiker: Lumina made getting solar very simple. All we did was say “let’s go “ and the rest was done by them. Township approval, HOA, Electric Co. everything. We just sat back and watched. They were all very professional and Peter Hayes was great, always there when needed. You won’t be disappointed
  • Review of Lumina Solar PA in Berks County Pennsylvania by Tyler Bridwell: I highly recommend Lumina Solar. They are a complete, one stop solar solution. Making the transition to solar can be a daunting endeavor and a huge investment. Lumina Solar and more specifically Christopher Richardson made my transition to solar a fantastic and rewarding experience. I have the highest confidence in my rooftop system and am extremely satisfied with my investment. Lumina is a top notch organization. I decided to transition to solar for several reasons. I liked the idea of making and using my own electricity. More independence from the power company was a huge motivator. But the numbers had to work. I wanted to make an investment that would pay for its self and continue to provide a return on my initial investment. I also wanted to be more environmentally responsible. Diving into the world of rooftop solar can be overwhelming. It is absolutely necessary to do your homework and get several quotes from competing companies. I received quotes from five different solar installation companies. I elected to go with Lumina Solar in the winter of 2022 and have been completely satisfied and extremely happy with my investment and choice of solar installers. Lumina was not the cheapest, nor were they the most expensive. But their product is so much more than panels and wire. They are a complete solar solution. From the very first meeting with Christopher I was impressed. Lumina does more than just the installation. They provide support every step of the way from the initial roof inspection to long after your system starts producing power. I was a skeptic from the very beginning when I started researching solar installers. I had other solar companies flat out lie to me. Some companies wanted the ‘quick sale’ and tried to lock me into a contract immediately. Others were using ‘fuzzy math’ when demonstrating the potential money advantages of rooftop solar. Lumina Solar was different. They were straight up honest and competent from the very beginning. Even when local red tape and logistical challenges pushed the project deadline back, they never wavered. They continued to be honest and forthcoming. Christopher was always available for questions, day or night. He was rock solid and with me every step of the way. Lumina solar offers many advantages that set them apart from other companies. Their warranty is of the highest quality on the market backed by a Solar Insure guarantee. This provides an added piece of mind. They also enroll their customers into a SREC management program that sells your energy credits for you. This takes all the headache and stress off of the customer. Like I stated above, Lumina Solar has thought of everything. Their comprehensive approach to rooftop soar goes way beyond installing panels on your roof. They cover every aspect involved in making the transition to solar. And more importantly, they back it up in the contract. I am very happy with Lumina Solar and Christopher Richardson!! Lumina Solar made my transition to solar a very positive and rewarding experience!
  • Review of Lumina Solar PA in Berks County Pennsylvania by Brady Bowlin: Shopped around for solar for a bit before finally landing on Lumina, and I must say I was instantly impressed. Phillip was amazing at not only walking me through the process and helping me pick a system that fit my needs, but also answering any of the many questions I had throughout the entire process and keeping me updated from start to finish. Install day went without a hitch, and both the installers and electricians did an amazing job of explaining the process of installing all 36 panels and any electric work needing to be done! 11/10 would recommend for any and all solar needs!!
  • Review of Lumina Solar PA in Berks County Pennsylvania by Chris Stoltzfus: When I was looking to go solar I had done a few quotes and designs with different companies. Lumina came in with not only the best pricing for the work, but the best design plan for the area as well. Jack knew his stuff and had a base design already done that showed estimates based on previous sun data and satellite pictures. We were able to determine taking out some trees could improve performance and which ones could stay. We had to do some back and forth with the electric company to get started which was the biggest hassle. There was a lack of communication from electric on getting us approvals and information if the system we planned was allowed. After 5 months they told us it wasn't and that we would need to pay to have a upgraded transformer installed. They then took another month to tell us a price before we said no and we down sized to what was allowed based on the current grid. By far this was the biggest headache but was in no part Lumina Solar's fault. Once we knew what we were allowed we went back and designed a system that would work. Permits and paperwork went pretty quickly after we got electric company to sign off. Due to the weather there was a little delay in getting install started but the team that came out did fantastic work. The hardest challenge for the installers was dealing with my old house's thick walls, (18inches plus a little empty space before another wall) but after determining what was needed they came back and managed to get the hole drilled. They were able to answer any questions I had along the way for the project and provided insight into other questions I had as well. On the roof install side of things, things went smoothly. A couple of the snow guards got broken but they ordered in new ones and replaced them without a hassle. The full Lumina team worked very well together and were always professional. I have recommended them to others and would do so again. Can't wait to see just how well the system works.
  • Review of Lumina Solar PA in Berks County Pennsylvania by Amanda Rahi: Excellent experience all around. I had been considering going solar for quite some time and had looked into a number of companies. It wasn't until I spoke to Philip at Lumina that I decided to move forward. He was very helpful every step of the way and made the entire process easy and straightforward. Also, the whole crew at Lumina was very professional and did great work. I highly recommend!

Why Does Style Matter This Much?
